My work at Hunter was more business orientated. Here I was in charge of logistics for the product development team, creating specs and chasing factories in the far east on short time-frame collaboration projects as well as sourcing new suppliers and vendors, raising PO's, chasing payments and approving rubber colour-ups [The rubber equivalent of a lab-dip]. Here I created CP's was in charge of updating our weekly CPM [updated CP sent to our suppliers in the far east] This role involved travelling to and from Asia which I thoroughly enjoyed. Working for Hunter was a great challenge and a brilliant learning curve in working on a greater variety of products outside of womenswear, proving my adaptabiliy
My day-to-day work at Hunter was hugely varied. In addition to the above, I also had my own personal projects such as "The Oxford-Cambridge Boat Race". For this project I had to liaise with our factories in the Far East to product a collection of 7 styles of boots for both the Oxford and Cambridge teams [Left - Cambridge Boots]. It was a small, short production run [Compared to Hunters usual production lead time of 6 months] and it was a fantastic learning experience for me as the time frame was quite intense and it required immense attention to detail.

My 7 styles were worn by all Oxford and Cambridge Rowing Teams during the Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race on 6th April 2014

- Correcting [on illustrator] and approving the artwork for each rowing clubs logo prints.
- Briefing the 7 styles to our factories in the Far East and chasing up for sample ex-factory dates in line with out Critical path.
- Amending specs and feeding back to our factory on receipt of our 1st samples.
- Approving Final sample and authorising the factories to proceed to production.
